Overview
The 7 days Uganda wildlife tour takes you through Bwindi National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park southwestern of Uganda, home to more than 480 mountain gorillas. You will also have a chance to visit Kibale Forest National Park for chimpanzee tracking and wildlife viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Itinerary
Upon arriving at Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked and driven up to Kampala, If you arrive early, you visit Uganda Museum, Bahai temple, Namugongo Martyrs shrine and after, check-in your hotel for dinner and night stay at Serena Hotel, Royal Hotel, Sheraton Kampala and Hotel Africana.
After morning breakfast, set off to Kibale National Park via the papyrus swamp and the dense forest of the Nile River Delta to Kibale National Park. Upon arrival, you embark on afternoon guided nature walk along the Crater Lake at the park for a cultural visit. You will check-in at the lodge of your choice for dinner and night stay at Ndali Lodge, Kibale Forest Camp, Kibale Safari Lodge, Rwenzori View Guesthouse, Primate Lodge and others.
Have a morning cup of coffee and with your packed lunch transfer to Kanyanchu Information centre for chimps trekking briefing. You will be grouped into 8 people and assigned a chimpanzee community to visit. Trekking to see chimps last between 30 minutes to several hours depending on chimpanzees location. In the evening, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for wildlife viewing and sightseeing. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari lodge, Mazike Lodge, Park View Safari Lodge or Kingfisher lodge.
Breakfast early in the morning and morning game drive along Kasenyi sector to look out for four of the big-five game in Uganda, bird species that makeup about 620 distinct bird species. In the afternoon, embark on a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel to look out for most of the hippos, crocodiles and aquatic bird species. Afternoon, you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as on Day 3.
Early in the morning, have breakfast, checkout and drive through Ishasha sector connecting to Bwindi Forest through Kanungu. Dinner and night stay at Gorilla Forest camp, Buhoma Homestead, Rushaga Gorilla Camp, Bakiga Lodge, Ruhija Gorilla Lodge or Community Bandas.
Wake up early, have breakfast and transfer to Buhoma park headquarters for registration and briefing about the rules and regulations of mountain gorilla trekking. Trekking to see gorillas starts at 8:00 am lasting for 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on the location of gorillas and their speed of movements. Spend an hour with gorillas, enjoy their human-like characters and enjoy this lifetime experience. If time allows, visit Batwa communities for a cultural performance Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Homestead or Community Bandas, Mantana Tented Camp, Silverback Lodge and others.
Following breakfast early in the morning, you set off to Kampala or Entebbe and you will have lunch along the way and this will mark the end of your 7 days wildlife safari in Uganda.
