Overview
The 3 Day Chimpanzee tour in Uganda starts and ends in Kampala, Choose between Chimpanzee tracking (1 hour with chimps in the Jungle) and habituation experience (Full day with chimps in the Jungle).
Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe after breakfast and hit the road to Kibale National Park via Mubende – Fortportal highway, or via Masaka – Ibanda – Kamwenge road (with en-route stop at the equator). Lunch en-route, dinner and overnight at; Chimpanzee Guest House, Kibale Safari Lodge, Kibale Forest Camp, Ndali lodge, Kyaninga Lodge or Primates Lodge.
Breakfast at your hotel and assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing about chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale National Park. With professional guides and rangers, escorted by porters, enter the jungle in search for habituated group of chimpanzees. The activity ends before mid day, retire for lunch and relax as you wait for an afternoon tour to crater lakes region or a community walk or nature walk to Bigodi wetland.
Alternatively, you can choose to spend the whole day in Kibale Jungle with an amazing group of habituated chimpanzees. All meals and overnight at your lodge on DAY 1.
Have breakfast, check out and transfer back to Kampala or Entebbe airport where the tour ends.
Alternatively, you can proceed to another park such as Semulik National Park (90 minutes drive), Queen Elizabeth N.P (2hrs) or Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for gorilla trekking or gorilla habituation experience!
